My husband and I stayed in “San Carlo” hotel; is situated right in downtown, when you get out its already shopping store. It is just about 2 block away from the Lake of Lugano. I have been 2 times in Lugano when I was visiting my sister on year 2004 and I was not married yet to my husband that time. The place Lugano, it bring back good memories of my fun with my sis., my bro., and my bro. in-law but I forgot a little bit about Lugano that time as we did not stay Lugano but last year my husband and I really stayed in Lugano and makes me remember some nice part of downtown in Lugano. Oh god, I love the City, lots of shopping store, but duh the products are outrageous I do not want to buy in anything in there (lol) maybe just a Swiss watch (ha-ha). The hotel San Carlo is nice as it is clean, the bed was comfortable but the one the problem is I can hear somebody talking in other room because the wall is not thick enough. The room had a sink in the bedroom and had a shower room and the restroom was outside our room and that was fine because we did not really pay much and it was just about CHF 140 (Swiss Franc) a night and we just stayed 2 nights in this hotel “San Carlo.” They have a free breakfast but it is simple but it was good, they have good bread they serve for breakfast, coffee and tea only, but it was fine because the hotel was really in the downtown and it is cheap. I will rate the hotel as 2 and half stars, over all the hotel for me was fine.

The town Thun is one of the most original towns in Switzerland. It has admirable site which you can see the view of the Bernese Alps. My husband did visit the two castles there. We saw the beautiful view of the Eiger, Monch and the Jungfrau (called tpp of Europe which my husband been to) and the giant pyramidal mount Niesen (2362m) (which I have been too when I visited my sister on year 2004) and other views of the beautiful mountain Alps. As what I have read, the Lake Thun is one of the loveliest and largest lakes in Switzerland and I am sure if you guys will be here, you will love the town a lot as I do loved it and my husband as well. The Lake Thun also presents many opportunities for water sports and swimming during summer time or not cold weather. My husband and I really enjoyed walking in Thun and it is really worth the visit. I want to go back this town Thun again. Love it in there!

My husband and I did go to Fort De Soto Beach, I was surprised it was crowded and that day was really a beautiful day, it was hot for me, but people did sun bathing. We took some pictures there, walked around. In fort De Soto, my husband and I just about 10-15 minutes away from our place, we decided to go there as we do not have something to do, it is a good beach also there because it is also a wide beach and there are some trees, tables and benches where you can put all your beach stuff. We went also to the fishing dock, and watched people doing fishing and we saw some dolphins there. I was thinking we would come back there in Fort De Soto Park to have picnic as it has many tables in there, I love the park, and it has a lot of parking space, so you do not need to worry when you come here. It would be alot of fun if you can visit this place.
