The Mount Pilatus, Switzerland and The World’s Steepest Cogwheel Railway

It's me just posing here while my hubby take picture of me on Mt. Pilatus
While walking on top of Mt. Pilatus, we just took a rest and he did took a picture of me.:)

My husband and I were not married yet that time and he visited me in Switzerland on 2004 and when I was with my sister visiting for three months. I just post in here so that I cannot forgot the place that we been too. My husband and I did travel different beautiful tourist attractions in Switzerland and one of this is in Lucerne and since we were there, we did not missed the tour package going to Mt. Pilatus as beautiful mountain of Switzerland. We did road a boat from Lucerne to Alpnachstad and it was fun. The Mount Pilatus has magnificent view and it is 7,000 feet or 2,132 meters above sea level. It has a cogwheel railway, which is the world’s steepest and I am glad I rode this one. Pilatus was named after a local legend which alleges that Pontius Pilate was buried there. And there are numbered amongst those have reached this summit mountain are Conrad Gessner-who was the Swiss naturalist and bibliographer, Queen Victoria-who was the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 20 June 1837 and Lenin or Vladimir Ilyich Lenin -who was a Russian revolutionary, a communist politician, the main leader of the October Revolution, the first head of the Russian Soviet Socialist Republic and from 1922 and the first de facto leader of the Soviet Union. When we arrived at Mt. Pilatus we did hike around the top and we did relax too as they have a large patio with restaurants and besides they have several paths for walking around the other mountains. We saw the Alphorn and loved it a lot. My husband did make a video of a person playing it. While were walking we found a place where we can take pictures but when we get there it was getting foggier but we saw the spectacular view before becomes it foggy where we were on top and when we were there we can hear the cowbells. When going home we did the aerial cableways and the panorama gondolas, and we did take bus to go back to Lucerne. I had really an awesome time there together with my husband and love to go back here again one day.
