I liked the movie but I am not really into it since it is brutal as it involves killing, no mercy etc. Watching the movie by the time Spartans fighting it scares me as their enemy looks scary as they wear a mask. I am thinking life before is more barbaric and I prefer to live nowadays since before you will not live in longer years, because of killing, invading the country etc. The movie which is based ancient Battle of Thermopylae but of course mostly is just fiction. This movie it shows about honor, patriotism and betrayal since one man here betrayed of the Spartans since Leonidas (king) rejected the guy that he cannot join the battle since he is not capable to defend himself or to other Spartans. It is an interesting movie and I liked some phrase of Leonidas which he says in the movie like “give them nothing but take from them everything,” “tonight we dine in hell,” “no retreat, no surrender, that is Spartan law.”
One king named Xerxes in the movie which was also the King of Persia and in the movie he has great voice which is sounds like brave and his voice makes an echo when he talk (lol) which is cool to me and he got alot of piercing and it’s everywhere which reminds me of tribal in travel channel. So far, the movie is interesting and it shows of bravery and patriotism but very violent. Imagine also the heroes in our country, they died because of freedom. We are just lucky nowadays that we have opportunity to live in peace unlike before they will come into different countries and will invade and will kill your son/daughters/ or to be slave. Overall the movie is 3 stars and half. I guess you guys watch this one already but well…I just wanted to post in here since I watched the movie about 3 times.
