I sent money recently abroad and I used xoom to send back to my mom and before I do money transfer, I looked 1st coupon code online hoping I could get a good deal or free of charge. I have found this xoom coupon code "genhalfxfer" that is a 50% in one transaction. Instead you paying full payment, you will get half off, good deal right? You can only use it once and you better use it wisely. :).

I sent $200 May 30, 2009 and they charged me a service fee of $2 and she received US Dollars not PHP Pesos. To get the same service from Xoom, it would have cost you 5.99 (that's using the coupon that takes 50% off the regular price of 11.99).
Western Union for the win for being 3.99 cheaper.
